I like how you described the point you were trying to get across, but try and put one more sentence at the end to wrap everything up in the intro to start the paper.
I like the language you used in both intro paragraphs. It overviews what you would be talking about but also leaves the reader guessing what you’ll be arguing. The only thing that I would be worried about is becoming too wordy – right now its good but just be careful of that!
